I’m Rachael, a UK-based freelance editor and journalist, who also undertakes photographic commissions. I’m lucky enough tocontribute to a wide range of newsstand magazines and author on a plethora of different topics, although my areas of expertise are lifestyle, music, culture, technology, photography and weddings.
As well as freelancing for a wide range of UK newsstand magazines, including T3, Digital Photograher and Perfect Wedding (see my Clients page for a full list), I’m the editor of 247 Magazine: the South West’s award-winning music, lifestyle and listings publication. I also give weekly lectures on the journalism and media degree courses at University College Marjon, Plymouth.
I live by the sea on Plymouth Hoe with my fiancé, Tom, and pampered pooch, Poppy.
Qualifications
BA Hons Journalism degree from University College Falmouth
NCTJ Postgraduate diploma in Magazine Journalism, accredited by the NJCJ and PTC
I hold a Licentiateship Distinction from The Royal Photographic Society.
